YOU Are Your Own Permission to Bloom.
When you feel as though the world is sweeping you up in its storm, when it seems that an emptiness stretches endlessly before you, leaving you isolated, distant, and longing for something more—just take a moment. Sit down. Rest your back, straight and tall, as if anchoring yourself to the earth. Close your eyes, and with deep intention, inhale deeply through your nose. Hold that breath for a moment, and then, slowly, exhale through your mouth. Do this five times. Breathe in the calm, breathe out the chaos. Stay still and listen. Listen to the silence that surrounds you. This silence? It is you.
Yes, you. The very essence of you. You, who has been tirelessly trying to solve the problems of those around you—your colleagues, your family, your friends—carrying their burdens as if they were your own. But listen closely: you do not own their problems. You do not own their lives. You have come into this world with your own purpose, your own mission, and it is time to remember that.
So, stop. Stop being the ever-giving mother, father, daughter, son, sister, or brother who feels the need to dictate what others should do, when they should do it, and how it should be done. Stop projecting your fears onto them. Stop passing down the beliefs shaped by the past, the traumas you’ve carried like heavy stones in your heart. This moment is yours.
Sit in it. Breathe into it. You are alone, and you will always be alone—this is the truth we must come to understand. But this aloneness is not something to fear. It is in this space that you will truly find yourself. The people around you, your loved ones—they are there to support you, not to live your life for you. You are not their saviour, and they are not yours.
It’s time to step into the full weight of your autonomy. Own your life, your actions, your choices. Do not place the blame for your successes or failures on anyone else. Take responsibility for your own self, your own journey. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to stumble, to fall. In fact, it’s more than okay—it’s necessary. For in every mistake, every failure, you are shaping the true essence of who you are. Each misstep is a brushstroke on the canvas of your authentic self.
Embrace your feelings. Feel them fully. Let them rise, let them fall, but never suppress them. They are your inner compass, guiding you toward your highest self. Allow yourself to shine, unapologetically. Be the example for others, especially for your children. Show them what it means to live with authenticity, to walk through the world with courage, to embrace both the light and the shadow.
Can you see it? Can you feel the beauty of life, the precious gift that it is? So often, we squander it by trying to be someone we are not—by fitting ourselves into moulds that do not belong to us. But now, now is the time to step into your truth. Give yourself permission to bloom, to stretch your wings, and to soar far beyond the noise of the world. This is your life, and it belongs to you alone.
It’s you. It’s you, and only you.
